Long before Joe and Kevin opened Corner Kitchen in Biltmore Village Joe was catering all over Asheville.
He would cook fancy dinners in people’s kitchens, do small weddings and generally make wonderful food happen without a home base, per se. Once Corner Kitchen got going, demand increased and Joe, Kevin and Josh found themselves “pulling an elephant through a knot-hole”; producing larger parties out of the tiny galley prep kitchen at CK.
Needless to say, we out grew our little Victorian building in Biltmore Village. Our search began for an appropriately sized kitchen. We found 48 Biltmore Avenue. It used to house the Highland Brewing Company when they first started, so we knew it had good juju.
It took the better part of six months, but we now have a spacious kitchen that can really do the job.
